1. Be in charge of the daily managementand whole-person education of students;

2. Work closely with the team of ResidentWardens and Tutors to handle student affairs;

3. Act as the first line of help in termsof emergency alarms regarding student’s safety and health. Conduct initialcrisis interference when necessary, and refer individuals in need to universitycounsellors;

4. Be responsible for the writing,proofreading and publishing of Chinese and English write-ups;

5. To provide pastoral care to studentsand improve general student welfare; To guide student organizations to arrangestudent activities;

6. To collaborate with all internal andexternal departments, as well as family-college communication, for betterdevelopment of the College.

1. Hold a bachelor’s degree or above;

2. Strong Chinese and English writingskills; expertise in writing articles, reports and drafting documents;

3. At least 3 years of experiences inhandling student affairs under a school setting; or relevant experiences in thehelping profession (for example: social workers, occupational therapists,teachers, etc.);

4. Recognize with the value of the helpingprofession; Be highly self-introspective and people-oriented;

5. Have a can-do attitude, open to newtasks and accept flexible boundaries in terms of working hours;

6. Basic knowledge and skills inpsychology, mental crisis and intervention, as well as legal responsibilitiesunder a school context.

Salary will be competitive, commensuratewith qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under theestablishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according tothe prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based atthe University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
