Prof. Zhao has been engaged in the biosynthesis and function of calcium messenger cADPR derived from NAD, and the development of tools for targeting NAD metabolism/signaling as well as neurodegenerative diseases. 40 SCI papers in journals such as PNAS, eLife and Science Signaling has been published.

Research Assistant/BSc or MSc

A position for research assistant is now available to research on the mechanism of cellular NAD signaling. We are seeking highly-motivated candidates with independent research capabilities and strong teamwork skills.

1.A BSc or MSc degree in a relevant research area including but not limited to biology, chemistry and neurology;

2.Experience in laboratory is preferred.

1.Conducting academic research under the guidance of your supervisor;

2.Supporting other members of this research group in scientific researches;

3.Some admin work.

Salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
