The Institute for Nonperturbative Physics (INP)in the School of Physics at Nanjing University is seeking exceptionalcandidates to fill a number of postdoctoral positions in modern high-energy andnuclear theory.

Each position is for two years in the firstinstance, with possible extension to a third year, contingent upon performance.Although normally opening in Autumn 2024, earlier starting dates are possible.

Staff and early-career researchers at the INPhave broad ranging interests and expertise in a wide variety of areas,including: hadron physics, quantum field theory, emergent phenomena, andphysics beyond the standard model. Theyplay a leading role in motivating experiments at many of the world's leadingfacilities; and are actively involved in numerous collaborations withscientists from around the world. TheINP has an active Visitor Programme, attracting and encouraging scientificexchange between institutes both nationally and internationally.
